The lower tier is exquisitely carved with milgrain finished pentagon shaped accents decorated with round cut diamonds. Each pentagon is embellished with a prong set round cut, 12 in total. In between the pentagons are prong set baguette cut diamonds each, total 12. Lining the split shank is 6 each, total 12, prong set round cut diamonds, 24 on both sides.
